Last Night @ Football world cup final (France vs Italy)

I've watched the world cup final 2006 in the street...cité Poppincourt in Paris. Marlene took her tv down the street and invited all her neighboors to come and watch the match. It was very pleasant to share this moment with different kind of people in this particular street...children, young boys and girls, parents and even old people from many different culture and also history probably. I think it was a good mixture, quite representative of France from nowadays.
It's a shame that France lost against Italy that way...but it's pleasant to realise that I live in such a good cosmopolitan city...You can just see the French football team! Anyway, hope that they will do better in the next competition without the king : Zidane "Merci Zizou!"
