Nike Re-mixed & Re-cut by Nancy Wu
Long heralded as one of the top art schools in the nation, Art Center College of Design in Pasadena has produced countless heavyweights in the industry for a long time. Product Design student, Nancy Wu, looks to be headed into that very direction with her masterful approach to cut and sew sneaker design. Taking elements from three separate pairs of footwear, Wu constructs various new models featuring a look reminiscent of those old school Roman sandals with a new age approach. Although the complete reconstruction customs have been done before, her designs are taken to another level with the creation of a completely original silhouette.
Ray-Ban Wayfarer “Colorize” Kit
The classic Wayfarer started to come back strong a couple of years ago. Before Ray-Ban could catch on, we saw brands such as Super create hundreds of colorways of the all-time classic and successfully releasing them into the market. After Ray-Ban finally knew what was going on, the brand also started releasing a couple of new colorways of the sunglasses.
Next year Ray-Ban will be releasing the “Colorize” kit, which much like Adicolor, bundles a pair of all white Ray-Ban Wayfarers with some markers that can be used to colorize the sunglasses. Interesting move, unseen in the sunglass market, but just like with Adicolor, the final outcome is in most cases questionable. Via Kanye/Acquire.

BBC/Ice Cream Spring/Summer 2009 Lookbook
We present you the BBC/Ice Cream Spring/Summer 2009 collection lookbook. The line took an interesting turn in the last couple of seasons. The line became more preppy and that continues to be the case next season. Of course they still work with a lot of color and strong prints, but you also find a nice line-up of subtle shirts, shirts and interesting new footwear in the collection. We were never fans of the entire collection, but the occasional piece is definitely nice - pick the best and match it with other brands.

Nike Spring 2009 Air Zenyth
In March 2009 Nike will be introducing a couple of new sneaker styles, that combine heritage and modern technology with up to date looks. One of the sneakers to be released is the Air Zenyth.
Suede, leather and Nike’s rip-stop nylon combines to make the Air Zenyth. Its visible shoe airbag touches on elements from the Air Max One released in 1987 but is held within a more refined shape. Welded logos, a button down tongue and comfort sock liner work together on this to form a contemporary low top built for everyday wear.
The Nike Air Zenyth will release next year and is coming in three colorways.
