It is said that creativity and artistic endeavor are the first to suffer during tough economic times. But Michel Gondry, the director of Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and Be Kind Rewind, may prove otherwise with one of his odd yet intriguing project. For only US$ 19.95, Gondry will illustrate a rough sketch of you. That’s right, your portrait drawn by Gondry himself. Simply paid the $19.95 fee online and e-mail a photo of yourself (and the order number) to address provided on Gondry’s website. Then wait for 8-12 weeks for delivery. Though it won’t be a Monet or van Gogh, it certainly will be a conversation piece during around the dinner table or a house party.
